Emily Yates (Drama Arts Board Co-Chair) is a 4th year studying Drama and English. At UVa, she has performed with the Department of Drama, Heritage Theatre Festival, and First Year Players. She's excited to be working on the Arts Board!
Second year graduate student, MFA Acting candidate. He teaches Speaking in Public and is a graduate assistant for How Theatre Works. Les is a huge fan of theatricalism, physical story telling, and the Chicago theatre scene. Go Ruffians!
Joseph Bromfield is in the second year of his MFA in Acting at the University of Virginia. Currently he is in rehearsals for the Department of Drama’s The Triumph of Love. Other favorite credits include: Peter and the Starcatcher (Virginia Rep), Almost, Maine (Heritage Rep), Vodka Variations, Wonderful Town (UVa), Hamlet (NCShakes), Much Ado About Nothing (Mainestage Shakespeare), and The 39 Steps (Cumberland Theatre). Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Joseph is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. When he’s not in the Drama Education Building, he can usually be found traipsing through the woods or playing a board game with friends or family
Jacqueline Ford, originally from Connecticut, is a Fourth Year Drama and French double major. When not working on the Arts Board or melting over dogs, you can find her performing on the Drama Department stage, working in the Costume Shop, having countless Virginia Players meetings, or singing in Hoos in the Stairwell. She can’t wait to bring our exciting guest group to the University community!
